[he jerks away suddenly, red-faced and a bit dazed judging by the way he's blinking at her blearily, chest heaving with every breath. it's only for the game, he reminds himself. no matter how cute she is, no matter how she flirts, no matter what advice she imparts to him on how to handle the whole. . . identity thing he's still working through. no matter how capable she is of weirdly calming him down when he needs it]
