[for now. . . Mars lets his hands wander across Fox's hips, to the small of his back, then up again, traversing unfamiliar. . . (familiar? thanks to the dream???) skin and the contours of Fox's spine. he huffs against the kiss when he hears that chuckle, but doesn't pull away, muttering as he dives in to continue the contact for as long as he can]

What's so funny. . .

[yeah he's gonna tug the pajama top off and toss it aside so his hands can get at this prime real estate of shirtless ren]

[... that doesn't really answer the question, but fox is smiling in a way where it seems like it kind of does? he gently runs his knuckles along ren's jawline, then down his neck]

[welp. it takes Mars a moment to respond since his shirt is busy being pulled over his head. and even then, any words he might have get caught in the back of his throat when Fox's hands wander across his chest. he finds himself struck with the sudden urge to pull Fox closer. and so he does, hands clutching his hips, dragging him forward until they're pressed impossibly together]

You'd-- [a breathless laugh of his own] -- better take as much as you can handle, that's for sure.

[cuts himself off with a sudden sharp inhale as his and ren's bodies are pressed flush together, feeling a strong spark of heat coursing through his veins]

[there's a lot more fox wants to explore first but... he can't help it, his hips roll against mars']

Good--

[Mars manages to get out that word before Fox's hips roll against his, the motion drawing a loan groan that rumbles in the back of his throat. for a moment, the entire world fades into while, and Mars can only focus on the jolt of pleasure that courses through him]

[he draws Fox into another kiss, this one eager and a little sloppy, hands now moving to remove Fox's shirt next as quickly as possible]

[the kiss muffles a noise like a whimper from fox's throat, and for a few seconds the only thing he can focus on is friction and heat and the slide of mars's tongue inside his mouth. it takes all of his remaining braincells in order to help mars take his shirt off, which thankfully is haori so once the tie is undone it can be shoved off of his shoulders without having to break the kiss.

as soon as they're both shirtless a hot shiver runs down fox's spine, the feeling of skin on skin contact turning everything else he wanted to say into nothing but soft, needy gasps]

[yes good. this is exactly where Mars wants to be right now. and with newly exposed skin to explore, he gladly allows his hands to meander across Fox's body, over the lines of his muscles (back and front) as he tries to memorize every single patch of skin with the fervor of a man who believes he'll only have tonight if he does so]

[and eventually. . . he pushes against Fox, trying to gently guide him towards the bed]

[it doesn't take much for fox to follow, even as he's so distracted he almost stumbles and trips, tugging mars with him until they both tumble down onto the bed in a tangle of limbs

and fox takes a moment to just... gaze up at mars, to take it all in, licking his lips in anticipation]

Ren...

[Mars's gaze is lidded, eyes dark with heat as his bangs fall haphazardly across his forehead. he grins down at Fox, mouth curved sharply upwards, knee sliding teasingly up the inside of Fox's thigh]

Hm. . . ?

[brings one of his hands up to bite his own knuckle, his cheeks stained a deep red as he seems to squirm under mars's gaze]

I... want to paint you.

Do you. . .?

[man, for being so easily flustered, in situations like this. . . Mars is very forward and almost domineering. his knee slides higher as he dips his head to press his lips against Fox's neck, nipping at it lightly]

You know I'm not opposed, but it's kinda hard to break out the paints at a time like this. . .

[fox bites down on a low moan, lifting his hips to meet mars's knee, and he tilts his head to one side to expose more of his neck, offering it]

N-not now. Another time. Seeing you like this just... captivates me.

[chuckles a little]

It's why I love watching you.

Mmm. . .

[drags his tongue from Fox's pulse point up to his ear, nipping at the lobe gently, tugging a little before he mutters again]

You. . . don't look too bad yourself, Fox.

[pants. is Fox wearing pants? because if so, it's time for those to go]

[fox's pants are loose enough that it's easy to tug them down past his bony hips, which he helps with]

I knew it... you watch me too, don't you?

[he lets out a shudder when mars nips his earlobe, inadvertently grinding down on mars's knee]

[a sharp inhale, and Mars presses his knee even more tightly against Fox, his hands dancing across Fox's hips now that they're exposed]

Of course.

[he breathes, once again peppering kisses across Fox's neck, interspersing those with more bites that are sharp and painful enough to leave marks]

Remember. . . when we fought? With that sword?

[the way Fox had looked at him, blade tip pressed against his chin, was just--]

You looked. . . fantastic.

[he cries out with each bite, loud enough for anyone to hear and entirely uncaring, his body trembling the more marks mars leaves on him]

I-I remember. I loved the way you looked at me... please don't stop...!

[tangles his fingers in mars's hair and pulls him into a messy, hungry kiss, shaking from how much he wants mars to watch him, touch him]

I'm not. I'm not.

[. . . and with that, Mars drags his lips towards Fox's, pressing his mouth firmly against the other thief's in a heady kiss. it's both meant to cut off those loud cries (in case anyone else from Heart is home) and. . . well]

[just because he wants to kiss Fox for being Fox. is that enough. . .?]

[the part of him that had reservations about this is completely gone now. all that's left is instinct and what Mars has always wanted deep in his heart. and for once in his entire tenure in Imeeji, he is going to take it]

[. . . Mars is gonna be left sprawled out on his bed, content and satisfied as he presses himself against Fox's side to bask in the afterglow]

at this point all nine of fox's tails have emerged and are gently thumping against the mattress, and occasionally tickling mars's hand if it strays near to his hip (or butt). he's thoroughly exhausted, pleasantly sore, sweaty, and perfectly content to bask with mars in his arms. one hand gently cards through his hair and runs his claws (gently) down his neck and the backs of his shoulders, casually touchy and affectionate]

[if there's one thing Fox would've acquired from this encounter (other than the fact that Mars is strangely confident in bed), it's that Mars is also a cuddler. that fact may contrast sharply with his otherwise prickly demeanor, but. . . well. hasn't his reputation as a huge dick already been ruined??]

[a light purr rumbles in Mars's throat as fingers card through his hair, as claws rake gently down his neck and back. he lets out a breathless sigh and curls even closer to Fox (if possible), face buried soundly against his chest]

[he mutters something inaudible]

[fox was expecting the cuddles tbh. mostly because he himself is a big cuddler and wouldn't expect anyone he sleeps with NOT to endure cuddles]

Hmm?

[he didn't quite catch that, claws scratching at the back of mars's neck]

[MARS IS ENDURING THE CUDDLES!!! . . . and initiating the cuddles!! he pulls back a little bit so it's easier to understand him]

[oh, mars. fox nuzzles his forehead and kisses it]

[shifts to prop himself up on one elbow, huffing a little]
