[There's nothing wrong with seeing how it goes as far as he's concerned — everything's still shiny and new, scary and exciting, and it was best to make sure they were both on the same page at all times. A kiss was certainly a good start, a territory they were both very familiar with now, and Lily leans into it with gentle interest, content to keep it simple at first before slowly parting his lips to invite him to delve deeper into it.
